Kanvess Clothing is an ethical and sustainable activewear brand that’s designed for those with an elevated ambition to live with intention. Their brand has a dual focus on the planet (through sustainable clothing) and community (by donating proceeds back to non-profits).

 

The challenge: Kanvess Clothing has two missions through their sustainable practices as well as their commitment to giving back to local, national, and global organizations that help individuals receive the resources they need to reset a new direction in their life. We needed to create messaging that fit their entire grand mission into succinct copy that easily conveyed their story.

The solution: First, I worked to create their brand voice. As a new company, we first needed to figure out the voice, tone, and overall messaging strategy for their brand. Ultimately, we landed on storytelling that is authentic, transparent, approachable, and hopeful. With this clear messaging direction in place, we worked to create web copy and email copy for their launch as well as blogs that interview inspiring local community members.
